Research Intrests
- My research interests focus on deciphering the major features of thermal physiological evolution in reptiles. My major line of questioning lies in investigating how ectotherms behaviorally interact with their thermal environments, and in discovering how those interactions sculpt evolutionary patterns of physiological diversity.
- I aim to then connect this behavioral and physiological data to climate change models to better understand spatial and phylogenetic patterns of vulnerability to climate warming.
- I am additionally interested in how life history, maternal effects, and plastic responses interact with the environment to shape the ecology and evolutionary patterns we see today.
